Op de belangrijkste show van België gekeurd door één van
de meest gerespecteerde rasspecialisten, hebben we een geweldige showdag
beleefd. Ons Mooike (Beau Mystique's
Ying Yang), kreeg 1 U in de Jeugdklasse, werd beste Jeugdhond en
uiteindelijk zelfs Beste van het Ras (BOB). En onze andere twee kanjers
deden het ook prima.

On the most important show in Belgium, judged by one of
the most respected breed specialists, we had a wonderful exhibition day.
Our "Mooike", (Beau Mystique's
Ying Yang), became first in Youth Class, became best Junior Dog and in
the end she even became Best of Breed (BOB). And also our other two
girls, were excellent qualified.

De Clubmatch van de HBC. Prima locatie, een goede sfeer,
strak georganiseerd en vooral veel gezellige bullevrienden. En het was
een zeer succesvolle show. De keurmeesters waren dhr. P. Roosenboom en
dhr. H. Hoenderken. Onze dank gaat uit naar de organisatie, de
keurmeesters en het ringpersoneel voor een geweldige show. Met een
prachtig aantal inschrijvingen: 108 bulletjes.

Een druk maar succesvol weekend

De Jonge honden- en veteranendag van
de Belgische Club (KBKFB) te Lommel. Al vooraf verheug ik me weer op het
showrondje met Destiny. Ons "puberale" oudje (inmiddels al weer 10 jaar)
vind showen nog steeds geweldig en ze gaat als altijd weer soepel en
gracieus door de ring. Daarnaast hadden we natuurlijk ook Mooike en
Wiske bij en ook die twee hadden er zin in. Het zaaltje was klein, maar
wel met sfeer. De lunch was goed en het gezelschap (Maria en Thea) was
top. En de resultaten waren ook super.

Het Royal Canin Symposium. Weer een
mooie gelegenheid om je kennis op Kynologisch gebied te vergroten. Het
thema dit jaar was "groei". Voeding, skeletopbouw, juridische aspecten,
hartruis en gebitsproblemen waren enkele onderwerpen waarover gesproken
werd. Zo leer je altijd wel weer iets bij.

A busy but successful weekend

The Youngster and veteran day of
the Belgian Club (KBKFB) in Lommel. Before the show I was already
excited to show my darling Destiny. Our "forever young" Oldie (all ready
10 years) loves to show herself and she walks smooth and gracefully
through the ring. Besides Destiny we also had Mooike and Wish with us
and they were excited too. The room was small but it had style and
sphere. The lunch was all right and the company was great (Maria and
Thea). And the results were fantastic. What a great day.

Maastricht-CAC-CACIB-show. Wij waren er met Wish en
Mooike. En verder waren er nog Mylo en Yazzlin. Keurmeester: Mr. G.
Godfrey (GB). Totaal ingeschreven: 55 Franse Bulldoggen. En we hadden
weer een succesvolle dag.
De keurmeester besloot om eerst alle baby's en puppy's te
keuren. Dus zowel reuen als teven. Daarom was al snel Yazzlin aan de
beurt. Mallotig (en lief) op tafel, maar verder showt ze prachtig mooi.
En dat was niet zonder resultaat.
Daarna dan toch maar het vervolg van de reuen. Mylo
showde prima, was alert en liep weer fantastisch. En ook hij had een
prima resultaat.
Wish was een beetje onrustig. Het lijkt er steeds meer op
dat het geen goed idee is als ze samen met Mooike in dezelfde ring
staat. Dan wil ze toch naar Mooike toe. Mooike zelf showde weer geweldig
en maakte ook op deze keurmeester indruk. En met haar 10 maanden haalde
ze een geweldig resultaat.

Maastricht-CAC-CACIB-show. We went with Wish and Mooike.
And also Mylo and Yazzlin were there. Judge was Mr. G. Godfrey from the
United Kingdom. And we had a total of 55 entries. This show was again a
great success.
The judge had decided to judge all baby's and puppy's.
Males as well as females. That is why Yazzlin had to enter the ring
quickly. She is a bit of a clown (and adorable) on the table, but on the
ground she shows wonderful. And for that she achieved a great result.
After that the judge went on with the males. Mylo showed
fine, was in shape and walked just fine. En he got a good result as
well.
Wish was a bit restless. It seems it doesn't work well
with Wish and Mooike in the same group. Wish want to play with Mooike.
But our lovely Mooike showed wonderful and made a great impression on
the judge. And on the age of 10 months she got a great result.

De Jongehondendag van de HBC. Altijd een leuke show
vanwege de vele jonge bulletjes en de ontspannen sfeer. Extra leuk omdat
we een reünie hadden van de pups van Madonna en Pink Lady. Ze waren er
niet allemaal, maar toch wel het grootste deel. Het was dus een drukke
maar gezellige groep bij elkaar. En er kon veel geknuffeld en bijgepraat
worden. Echt gaaf om al die muppypuppen bij elkaar te zien.
Er werd natuurlijk ook geshowd. En dat was voor de meeste
nog een beetje onwennig. Maar al bij al, liep het toch goed en allemaal
kregen ze mooie rapporten. Extra leuk waren de resultaten van de pups
van Pink. Op één na allemaal geplaatst. En Yannick werd zelfs beste reu.
Wie had dat kunnen denken. En ons Mooike won de jeugdklasse. Dus weer
een heel succesvolle dag. Allemaal van harte proficiat.
Baasjes van Xservio, Xsören en Yannick en van Xantia en
Xahlia; top dat jullie er bij waren. Zo was het echt een feest, waar we
van hebben genoten. Bedankt. Astrid en Jerry, proficiat met de mooie 3e
plaats van Yazzlin. Het was weer gezellie. Tessa en Andrea, tof dat
jullie weer geholpen hebben met het showen. Andrea, knap gedaan met
Yadore. Thanks.
En Maria, proficiat met Mooike en met de andere kindjes
van Beau Mystique. Jij hebt het ook weer super gedaan. Het was echt een
geweldige dag.

The Youngsterday of the HBC. Always a fun show with a lot
of very young Frenchies (up to 18 months). This time we also had a
reunion of the litters of Madonna and Pink Lady. The group was not
complete, but we had most of them. It was crowded but also a lot of fun.
Great to see these children together and to cuddle and enjoy the people.
But don't forget the show. For some it was a bit uneasy,
but it went well and all got very nice reports. Especially the children
of Pink Lady did very well. four of the five were selected and placed.
And Yannick became best male. What a great result. Our Mooike put on the
topping, by becoming first in the Youth class. It was a great successful
day. Congratulations to all. We wish the thank all owners of the puppy's
(Xservio, Xsören, Yannick,
Xantia and Xahlia) for being there and making
it a special day.
Astrid and Jerry, congratulations with Yazzlin and
Breezer and thanks for your support. Tessa and Andrea, helpful as ever.
Andrea, you did great with Yadore. Maria, congratulations with Mooike
and with all the results of your puppy's. Great results. In total it was
a great day.

De Jubileumshow van de Duitse Club voor
de Franse Bulldog. De IKFB viert haar 100 jarig bestaan in 2009. En hun
hoogtepunt was de Jubileumshow op het Jachtkasteel Kranichstein. Op 5
september 's avonds hebben we gezamenlijk een feestavond beleefd in dit
Jachtkasteel. En op zondag was er de show met 290 ingeschreven Franse
Bulldoggen. We hadden Wish en Mooike voor de Jeugdklas en Pink Lady voor
de Kampioensklas. Ook hadden we de drie baby's bij voor wat extra
oefening.
Ze hebben het allemaal goed gedaan.
Pink stond in een klasse van 13 kampioenen en kreeg een uitmuntend. Het
was spannend bij de selectie, want ze bleef lang staan. Maar net als de
laatste "5e", werd ze net niet uitgeselecteerd. Wish en Mooike kregen
ook allebei een uitmuntend, maar hier werd Mooike (Beau Mystique's Ying
Yang) wel uitgeselecteerd. En in de erering liet ze zich mooi showen en
werd ze 3e (42 ingeschreven in de Jeugdklasse).
De baby's werden niet officieel
gekeurd, maar in Duitsland worden ze "beschreven". Een genodigde keurt
dan de baby's, maakt een kort rapport en daarna worden er alsnog 4
geplaatst. Hierbij werd Yarno als 3e geplaatst. Het is al een echt
natuurtalent.
Het was een bijzonder evenement, en
een leuk en een succesvol weekend.

The jubilee show of the German club
for the French bulldog. The IKFB celebrates its 100 Year existence
in 2009. And their peak was the jubilee show on the Hunting castle
Kranichstein. On the 5th of September in the evening we had a party on
the Hunting castle. And on Sunday there was the show with 290 registered
French Bulldogs. We had Wish and Mooike for the youth class and Pink
Lady for the champion class. Also we had the three baby's with us for
some extra exercise.
They all have done well. Pink stood
in a class of 13 champions and got excellent. It was exciting at the
selection, because she continued to stay for a long time. But just as
the last "5th" , she did not become selected for the final. Wish and
Mooike also got excellent, but in this group Mooike (Beau Mystique' s
Ying Yang), became selected for the final. And in the honorary ring she
showed herself perfectly and became 3rd (with 42 registered French
Bulldogs in the youth class). Baby' s were not judged officially, but in
Germany they got an unofficial judging. A special guest judges the baby'
s, she makes a short report and afterwards 4 baby's will be selected.
Yarno became placed as 3rd. He is already a real natural showdog.
It was a special event, and a nice
and successful weekend

Yazzlin Pink v. Muppy's Place (van Astrid
en Jerry) heeft super gepresteerd dit weekend. Twee clubmatches op 2
dagen. In Meppel bij mw. De Vries-Hoogland werd ze 1e met Veelbelovend.
En bij de KC Flevoland kreeg ze dit ook bij dhr. Dick Baars en daar werd
ze zelfs 3e Beste Baby in de Eindkeuring van de 19 beste baby's.
Helemaal top. Astrid en Jerry, van harte proficiat met deze prachtige
resultaten.

Yazzlin Pink v. Muppy's Place (owned
by Astrid Meesters and Jerry de Vries) has done great on two clubmatches
this weekend. On a show in Meppel with Mrs. de Vries-Hoogland as judge,
she was placed 1st with Very Promising. And on the Clubmatch of the KC
Flevoland with judge Mr. Dick Baars, she was 1st with Very promising as
well. But now she also became 3rd in the Honouree Ring in a group of 19
best baby's. What a great result. Congratulations to Astrid and Jerry
with these achievements.

De vakantieperiode is weer voorbij en ook is het tijd om eens met de
pups te oefenen. Ook de pubers hebben wel zin in een uitstapje. Redenen
genoeg om aan een Clubmatch van de KC Zaanstreek deel te nemen. Maar een
heel voorname reden was het feit dat daar dit jaar de Franse Bulldog was
uitgekozen voor de “Ras-special”. Het was een mooie zomerse dag met
weer bekende bullenliefhebbers. Extra leuk was dat Maria er was. En
Astrid en Jerry met Yazzlin. Een extra verrassing was Annelies met
Whopper. Om er maar meteen een dolle boel van te maken, hadden we zes
bullen bij. Drie baby’s (Yarno, Ymani en Yadore), en drie pubers (nou ja,
1 volwassen puber dan) namelijk Mooike, Wish Come True en Pink Lady. En
we hadden ook nog twee koppels ingeschreven.
De reuen werden gekeurd door mevr. Pamela Runderkamp aan het begin van
de dag. Yarno mocht dus meteen de ring in. Toch spannend, zo voor de
allereerste keer (afgelopen week had ik pas voor het eerst lopen aan een
riem geleerd). Maar het was voor hem helemaal niet spannend (zo leek het).
Yarno ging relaxt de ring door. Liet zich goed bekijken en had het
verder prima naar zijn zin. Uitslag: Yarno Enzo v. Muppy’s Place wordt 2e
in de babyklasse reuen. Net achter Beau Mystique’s Zhivago van Maria (een
achterkleinkind van onze Harlequin). De “verrassingsact” van Whopper
Mylo v. Muppy’s Place had ook nog een mooie toegift, want hij werd 2e
in de Jeugdklas (achter Breezer van Astrid die uiteindelijk beste reu
werd) met een heel mooie rapport. Annelies bedankt en proficiat.
Toen kregen we een “pauze”, want de teven zouden pas later door mevr.
Wil de Vries-Hoogland gekeurd worden. Tussendoor mochten we nog met alle
bullen de ring in, vanwege de toelichting op de Franse Bulldog als ras
van de dag. De heer Dick Baars vertelde wat belangrijke punten over het
ras die met voorbeelden uit de groep extra werden belicht.
Redelijk kort daarna mochten we dus met de teven beginnen. Natuurlijk
eerst de baby’s. Hierbij nog even een bedankje voor Tessa voor haar hulp
op deze dag. Zij ging met Ymani de ring en ik zelf met Yadore. Astrid
liep met Yazzlin en Maria met Zingara (een
achterkleinkind van onze Harlequin).
Hier werd Yadore 1e en Yazzlin werd 4e. Ymani werd
niet geplaatst. De puppyklas werd gewonnen door ons Mooike (Beau
Mystique’s Ying Yang. Wish Come True v. Muppy’s Place werd 1e
in de Jeugdklas. En last but not least. Onze volwassen puber Pink Lady
Jazzy v. Muppy’s Place werd 2e in de open klas.
Al bij al hele mooie resultaten, maar we waren er nog niet. We kregen ook
nog de koppelklasse. Astrid liep met Yarno en Wish (en die deden het
prima samen). Els moest het nog even overnemen, omdat Astrid met Breezer
nog opmoest voor beste van het ras. Ik zelf liep met Pink en Yadore en
dat ging ook best goed. We werden niet uitgeselecteerd, maar het was erg
leuk om te doen.
Alle beste baby’s en alle beste puppy’s (zowel reu als teef) moesten op
het eind de erering in. Daar werd bepaald (als er een reu en teef waren),
wie als beste baby van het ras mee mocht doen voor de beste baby van de
show. In dit geval was het Yadore versus Zhivago. Yadore mocht blijven
staan, maar werd uiteindelijk niet geplaatst. Hoe dan ook, echt goed
gedaan. Bij de puppy’s moest Yingyang (Mooike) het opnemen tegen broer
Ycaris (Igor). Mooike mocht blijven staan voor de eindplaatsing. Ze werd
daarna ook uitgeselecteerd en uiteindelijk door mevr. Pamela Runderkamp
aangewezen als de Beste Puppy van de show.
De dag was al top, maar dit was helemaal geweldig. De bullen hebben het
prima gedaan, en wij zijn vooral trots op de kleintjes. Het ging goed
onderweg, goed op de hele dag en goed met het showen. Echt een topdag.
Maria het was weer top. Astrid en Jerry, bedankt voor de gezelligheid,
de hulp en de foto’s. Tessa, bedankt voor de hulp.
En allemaal proficiat met de behaalde resultaten.

The holiday period is over and also it
is time to practice with the puppies. Also the adolescents would like a
trip. Reasons enough to take part in the Clubmatch of the KC Zaanstreek.
But a very important reason was the fact that this year the French
bulldog had been selected breed-special. It was a beautiful summery day
with many Frenchie-lovers. Extra nice that Maria was there. And also
Astrid and Jerry with Yazzlin. An extra surprise was Annelies with
Whopper. To make the party complete, we had 6 of our Frenchies with us.
Three babies (Yarno, Ymani and Yadore), and three adolescents (maybe 1
adult adolescent), Mooike, Wish Come True and Pink Lady. And we also had
entered two couple-classes.
The males were judged by mrs. Pamela
Runderkamp at the beginning of the day. Yarno could therefore enter the
ring immediately. It was very exciting, this way for the very first time
(I just practiced walking at a leach a few days before). But Yarno was
very relaxed and showed very well. The judge could examine him very well
and he seemed to like it in the ring. Result: Yarno Enzo v. Muppy Place
become second in the baby class males. Just behind Beau Mystique Zhivago
van Maria (a great-grandchild of our Harlequin). The surprise act of
Whopper Mylo v. Muppy Place had also a beautiful encore, because he
became 2nd in the youth class (behind Breezer of Astrid who even became
Best Male) with a very beautiful report. Annelies thanks and
congratulations.
Then we got a break, the bitches would
later be judged by mevr. Wil Vries-Hoogland. Inbetween, we had to enter
the ring, because of the explanation on the French bulldog with all
French Bulldogs as the breed of the day. Mr Dick Baars told what
important information about the breed which was extra examined with
examples from the group. Shortly after this we could start with the
bitches. Of course to begin with the baby’s. Thank you Tessa for your
help on this day. She went with Ymani in the ring and I walked with
Yadore. Astrid showed with Yazzlin and Maria with Zingara (a
great-grandchild of our Harlequin).
Yadore became first in babyclass and Yazzlin became 4th. Ymani was not
placed. The puppy class was won by our Mooike (Beau Mystique Ying Yang).
Wish Come True v. Muppy Place became 1st in the youth class. And last
but not least. Our adult adolescent Pink Lady Jazzy v. Muppy Place
became 2nd in the open class. These were all beautiful results, but we
were there not yet.
First we went to the final ring for the couples/brass class. Astrid
showed Yarno and Wish (and those put together it very well). Els had to
take it over, because Astrid with Breezer had to go to another ring for
competing for Best of Breed. I myself showed Pink and Yadore and that
went also very nice. We did not become selected, but it was fun to
participate with the couples. All best baby’s and all best puppy’s (both
dog and bitch) had to go in the final into the honorary ring. There it
was stipulated (if there were a dog and bitch), which would be best baby
of the breed to go on participating for the best baby of the show. In
this case it was Yadore versus Zhivago. Yadore could stay in the ring,
but was not selected in the final placing. Anyhow, real well done
In the puppyclass Yingyang (Mooike) was placed against
brother Ycaris (Igor). Mooike was selected for the final round. Then
after that she got selected for the final round and in the end mevr.
Pamela Runderkamp appointed her as best puppy of the show. The day was
already great, but this was superb. All the Frenchies have done very
well, and we were especially proud of the baby’s. It went well underway,
well on the complete day and well with showing. Really a wonderful day.
Maria it was another great day.. Astrid and Jerry, thanks for being
there, for helping and for the pictures. Tessa, thank for your help. And
all congratulations with the achieved results.
